Let's Band Together: Design program pages for a ceremony honoring teachers!

Please design our 2024 Excellence in Education Awards Program! Every year, for Hillsborough Education Foundation's Excellence in Education Awards, we put together a booklet (approximately 30 pages) that serves as our event program. This year's theme is "Let’s Band Together.” We want to utilize 80’s Rock and Roll/School of Rock/Glam Rock styles to make it a night to remember for our teachers! A mood board for the theme is attached. We would like the booklet design to incorporate our theme in a fun, but tasteful way. Be creative as you want! Please provide design concepts for the following pages of this booklet (We have attached previous years’ programs for reference): - Page 1 (cover) - Page 3 (Best of the Best) - Page 7 (Program) - Page 8 (Ida S. Baker Diversity Educator of the Year) - Page 9 (layout of teacher names, reference the 2023 program) - Last page (back cover/sponsor thank you) Please note: This event recognizes K-12 teachers and students will be present, please keep all content clean and G-rated. Things to avoid: • Skulls • Roses • Licking/Tongues • Specific band or song references • “Party” phrases (for example, do not use: “Party like a rockstar”) • Any reference to “sex, drugs, rock n’ roll” culture We would like to keep the focus on music. Please utilize graphics and phrases such as: • Amps • Stereos • Guitars/Drums/instruments • Records • Music notes • Headphones • Microphones • Spotlights/Stage lights • Lightning bolts • Concert stages • Marquee signs/letters • Glitter/sequins • Metallic colors • “Amplify” • “Turn up the volume” • “Rock on” • “Rock n’ roll” • The rock hand gesture 🤘 may be used sparingly, where appropriate If there are any other graphics or sayings not listed that you are unsure about, please send us a message!
